I was watching this youtube video of hoobastank at their AOL sessions a few years ago on youtube. And there was these few interviews which really assisted in my hunger for knowledge about dan. Here's a few questions they asked him and his answers..

What's a habit you can't get rid of?

Ressistance is futile

Mugging- the art of cramming in the least amount of time.
i HATE this all. these are the last few days of mugging- the crash and burn days.
One tiny mistake and POOF. GONE! Mugging is unhealthy but it's the last resort, I suppose. That's why it's important to have a healthy balance of mugging and relaxation.

So today, during music class, Mr Lim suddenly became very agitated and decided to give us a piece of his mind. :D ok? so he was going on and on about money and grades and such and then he said...

"if the word EXAM comes and flashes in front of you, would you freak out?"
Hell yeah! Yes, that was the highlight of my day.
Someone, please take pity on my pathetic attempts to curtail insanity.

Tomorrow is my MOTHERTONGUE exam.
Im going to speak in malay the hwole of today and use very "chim" words. To convince myself that that will help.

this hiatus thing isnt working.

History was fun today. We had Mr Andrew Chai. At one point, when were were laughing, he said in his army commando voice -" Ok girls, this is not the time to laugh. I know everyone talks and laughs. Even I do... sometimes"

There comes a time when you start to panic because the EOYs are no longer around the corner but poking you in the butt. That time is now.
And that's the time when this word comes in- hiatus.
And then, a question is posed- What the hell is hiatus?
and here comes the answer- a break or interruption in the continuity of a work, series, action, etc.

Today was boring and awesome at the same time. Morning classes were boring. I played the guitar for the lever song and I have finally concluded:

And all of us freak out. so I grab newspapers and pretend to read. HE buys a brownie and goes back into his staffroom.

When I’m leaving, he’s LEAVING! At the same time. So he carpools with Ms Poon, Mr Ang and another woman. And then they have to pass the foyer.

So he looks at muah! And half grins. Eckss! Hahaah.Im very freaked out and happy.

EARTHSICK SUNDAYS. SIGH.

I pretended to study today. It was quite enriching.
I lazed around reading the Diary Of Anne Frank and listening to depressed Nick Lachey music.
And thinking how Jessica Simpson should be slapped for making such a perverted video while her ex- husband is still mourning their divorce. my head hurts.
I also watched the Matrix Reloaded to see just how blur Keanu Reeves could act and to cheer myself up. School's going to be painful tomorrow.. ACk

Mrs Franklin was asking us about what made us stressed and how we could correct it. Actually, what I relax with is HOOBASTANK. and dan and sean lim. I mean.. It's cool hahahahaha Nice music you see.

I've been bringing my guitar to school. It's a total magnet to everything! Everyone looks especially Mr Lims.haha! i will tell you more about that next time.

Forbidden City- done that.

It was great. Very touching too. I saw Mr Clarence Lim there. Since there were only 4 sec 1s right, we got the VIP seats! THat was awesome. Only the 4 of us in comfy chairs. We also got to see the musicians playing their music below the stage.

The conductor reminded me of Mr Chia. He was dancing all over the place. Isis , Poojha Chudney N I were laughing so hard that at one point, one of the actors glared at us. AHAH!

ooh. and we waved at the gong guy gonging the gong. He was fat and looked like a pig. haha. So then he started laughing and we started laughing because his front teether weren't really there.

Then Isis, Chudney, Poojha and I went to Citylink mall and i got the PANIC ALBUM!

THen i went home with Isis and we were lauhign at some guy reading an article on Tomatoes on the MRT.

My entire afternoon was marred by strong winds and creepy howls that made the roof make noises it wasn't supposed to. That was not the only factor. So much homework. And it's only the second day of schooL.

The funny thing is that everytime after the holidays, everybody won't run fast because we've all put on some weight and then our PE teachers will be yelling at us from across the track to start running and we nod our heads but we actually don't.

big news! Today, my dad and mum showed me how to get home from Esplanade via MRT. Cos Forbidden City is the same day as that IMF thing so they're afraid Esplanade will cut off all cars. So MASS RAPID TRANSPORT is my only way out. Then, we went on a shopping spree.

First- Beautiful big fat sandwiches from O'Briens.
Second- Two pairs of pretty pretty jeans from Bossini.
Third- Pretty Pretty Pretty Pretty bag from U2.
Fourth- DIGITAL CAMERA. (i practically fainted)

I felt so nostalgic after reading Mr Sng's blog. I love the way he writes everything
down into detail. His father just passed away and i think he was writing some stuff down
for the eulogy.It made me think of my childhood.

To be honest, the earliest memory I can think of is being thrown around by my father and then giggling in his arms. Such good times. Nothing to worry off. Just show of one of my teeth and be showered with kisses and cuddles. I love my family.

Yesterday, I went to watch Singapore Dreaming with my parents. I had a horrible headache afterwards because of all the subtitles and glare.( movie was in Hokkien, Singlish and chinese)
I think it's basically of all the things that Singaporeans dream of- the Singaporean dream.
It's quite touching and more sensible than I Not Stupid.
My parents could relate with some of the things going on in the movie.
E.g cellphone ringing on public holidays from work ? hmm..

After that we went to some chinese restaurant which was supposed to be the top 10 in the world
ranked by the New York Times. They were already taking last orders so we ate. enjoyed. yum.
I am definitely going back there. The food was awesome and my brother made a funny face but i think the waitress saw him.
She startedf laughing and whispered something into her intercom thing. And then at the otehr end of the room, someone yelped. AHAHHAHAHAHAH.

So, I shall plan out what I'm going to do today and tomorrow. yesyes.

Time to Express

My love for Rockstar Supernova. Even my mother has been awed by their reasonably intellectual comments. I think she expected some sort of hooligan jumping around on stage, pulling his hair out or smashing his guitar around. Oh! but how wrong she was.

I love Magni's name and his sparkly bald head. It's just so awesome. I swear I'm going to name my future child Magni. Or pet name someone Magni.

oh justine ! Look what I've found. haha.

The most devastating thing happened- Crocodile hunter,Steve Irwin, died. How is that possible!?! The guy who wrestled crocodiles and got bitten by poisonous snakes for how long. And all because he swam the wrong way. Above a stingray. not below. But what a dramatic way to die- The stingray punctured his heart with its barb and he died instantly. At least he died doing what he loved.

found out i have to do that stupid history test over again. the one for hol homework. All because I did not follow the formatting correctly.*stabstab* And I thought I'd already finished. Sighh..
I updated the books section on a count of all the books being finished reading. I also wanted to put up a movie section but ughh.. too much work. So nvm. Holidays are seriously boring. I bought this book to write poetry and possibly songs in but no inspiration because NOTHINg is happening. I only managed to finish one song about crocodile hunter but its pretty nonsensical. AGH! exams coming. 22nd is the first one. There's less than a month left...

It's official - The band is formed.

Me on guitar, Izzzy on drums, Fi on bass and Nana and Poopoo on vocals. Maybe liyana too. but we'll see first. Im so excited because I've written our FIRST song. And i sang it to the choir girls during OpenHouse. I think they liked it. It's dedicated to someone but I shall not mention it here. I'm sure everyone knows already. Anyways, it's a slow song so I think the bass will be playing this:

it should be easy once I teach Fi the notes. And then the drums will be pretty soft. Maybe only the cymbals as it's not really a rocky song. And Ill show NANA and Poopoo the vocals. I think I'll play the acoustic until we rent a studio for the instruments.

Yesterday was Open House. Lots of kids came. I dressed up as a fisherman turned samurai and Arty was the grim reaper. We scared little kids away. ahh.. good times. The teachers laughed at us. It was nice. yess...
Couldn't sleep last night so i finished allmy homework except maths because maths isn't nice. and the minute I saw that piece of paper, I fell asleep.
