I haven't been reading enough. My vocabulary is severely lacking. I've snatched a few novels from my brother's bookshelf, books with authors like Terry Pratchett, Daniel Pinkwater.. etc..

One of my favourite things to do right now, is huddle up amongst pillows in my oversized trackpants and hangten tees, with a packet of chocolate milk not far away, slip on some old reading glasses and read.. and read.
Currently re-reading Eragon. Bracing myself for the moviehaha. I find Saphira as a young hatchling quite cute. Especially the first night when she slept on Eragon's pillow.

btw.. i bet you're wondering why I'm not at the chalet yet. SO AM I!

The Adventures of JOY and CHITS (part2)

I have returned from my adventure with Chits.

Took a cab to cineleisure. Taxi guy brought me to plaza singapura.

Taxiguy: here.
Joy:wha? .. this isn't cineleisure.
Taxiguy: there CATHAY.

So in the end, I reach Cineleisure and poor chits-mama is waiting in front of famous amos. Get tickets to go watch Happy Feet. Awesome movie- not only includes the cutest singing penguins ever, but a lot of information about conservation of marine mammals and the impact someone's actions may have on others etc..etc..

After the movie, we headed on down to Long John's and get cheese fries and crunchy shrimp. Spent about twenty minutes reminiscing and talking about secondary school, primary school and laughing our butts of stupid things like me going : " hmm?" with a shrimp in hand...sigh. I have a strange feeling that some bhps-ans or whatever they're called are coming to Cedar. Bought famous amos cookies- nutless cookies might i add. heehehehhehe

Then, we cross the road and go to HMV where I get... HOOBASTANK- La Cigale LIVE IN PARIS which completely drained my wallet's insides. I saw Daniel Ong on a catwalk. WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO?

We went to Takashimaya and got lost. Scary experience because it's so big and I had a feeling that some old lady was following us. Every now and then, I would turn back and she would pull up some newspapers to hide herself. Creepy old lady.

So, Chits was thirsty so she bought iced milo from 711. I decided to leave early so she wanted to get a cab to go to Great World City to look for her mom. I left her at specialist centre and she walked back to cineleisure for the cab.

I miss chits. i miss friends.

at least i have my la cigale. HAHAHAHAHHAH

My family has stomach flue. I'm the lone survivor. The dettol fumes are getting to my brain. I've begun hallucinating. The bathroom is a warzone. Four sick people fighting over the toilet.

My mom got me this planner/diary/notebook/calendar/whothe- which means that I wasn't very organized this year which means that she thinks the planner will help me next year. But, I was thinking of getting the planner. Except I have a sneaky suspicion that the planner was a free gift because it has the words.. S-E-I-Y-U on it.hmm.. I wonder what THAT means hmm?

I like the word esoteric. It's nice to say. Today, I went to Yishun to watch a movie with Isis. I am freeeakked out. I almost fell asleep in the train. And in the bus to the station, this group of elderly people jumped in and i didnt give up my seat. So the elderly person behind me kept kicking the back of my seat. ahh! Had a rushed lunch at mcdonalds. Isis brought in cheese fries for the movie and there was this group of kids sitting at the back shouting and laughing non stop and halfway through the movie, Isis said something like MCR and Mikey Way's phase of depression which sounded like "that's why MCR donated all their crotches" hahahahahha!

I've missed going out to movies with Isis. TOday was fun fun fun! She's going to meet Justine and Nadia at vivo on monday. HAHAHHA im sure they'll be fine whee heehehehhehe! and if not, she can always put me in her bag and pull me out whenever she likes.

I'm kinda tired today. I still have a lot to do. like..

TOday, I went out with Auntay Artay. We watched StepUp which is the oh-so-predictable love story between two complete opposites who have one thing in common. they like to shake it. OHYEAH! We ate at BurgerKing again.. and I drank some frap at starbucks. UMM.. then we took the train back to bishan where she took 88 and i took 52. I pooped. I finished half my karangan*kill*. Flow of ideas is dying. I think I'm going to meet Poojha's cuzin on Friday at Escape Theme Park.

I went to Zahrah's house for a Hari Raya party. Her parents are really friendly and her house is really nice. Her track friends came too. I ate a LOT of cake and such. So much yumyum so little time.

Monday, 5 November.
Went out with the CBC minus Justine. They couldn't contact her..sigh... but we had a great time. WE went out and watched the Prestige together. It's awesome but slightly complicated but still awesome. Adinda cut her hair ahahah. We ate at BurgerKing and I was playing with my Sprite. hee hee. Adinda was counting the number of times she burped. Jiahui was laughing a lot and JingYi was playing with her food. It's fun to remember primary school days, besides the bad stuff like homework and PSLE.

I have to say that Vanity Fair is a little below my favourite movie. My favourite movie shall never be defined because I've tried naming it but it changes every few minutes so I've left that slot completely blank. i love vanityfair cuz, all the people in it are so pretty and it's like Pride and Prejudice EXCEPT it isn't. Reese Witherspoon is my favourite actress.. next to Keira Knightley.

Yesterday was my Grandfather's birthday and Halloween. So when we were leaving the house, I could see little witches running around in circles due to the high dose of sugar in their bloodstreams. My mom didnt attend cuz she was busy.

My family was the last to reach their house. So we were eating dinner with my dad's uncle and his wife. It was so funny how everyone was talking at the same time but everyone understood what everyone else was saying. I felt so out of place cuz all i was doing was playing with my mutton thing. After finishing our sumptuous dinner of all things Indian, we went to the living room to talk about current affairs and such. On one side of the room was all the men and the other was all the women. The men were talking about cricket and lalalal whatever. And the women were talking about religion and stuff. They tried to get me involved by asking the usual questions like. " How's school?" or "what's your favourite subject?" but they could tell I didnt really want to get involved when I gave them blunt and uninterested answers.

There are so many differences between my Dad's side and my Mom's side.

On a lighter note, i went out with Feeee and Leeee yesterday. We ate at Macs and took MORE neoprints for the heck of it. this week I spent 7 dollars on neoprints. Not as bad as 30 dollars on neoprints like SOMEBODY i know. Feeeeee said she'll miss coach Andy. The truth is I will too. But he was pretty BUFF. especially in that black spandexy tshirt. hahahha.
