Today at school, the only thing that was supposed to motivate me thoroughout the day was stolen away the minute I reached school-debate practice. Truly, I can tell you with a full heart that it is my all-time favourite CCA. Anyways, apparently our captain forgot to inform our coach to come so there wasn't going to be any practice. i felt down. But I promised myself that today would be enjoyable like all the other Fridays before. I hesitated but plucked up the courage to convince my captain to have a shorter debate session for the three. She agreed, somewhat willingly.
Lessons went on as usual, maths, english and then science followed by jogging which I sat out. However, we "sick people" still had to engage in a form of exercise- walking around the tennis court right below the sun. There was no shade. I tried ducking underneath my smaller friend, Jolene. Unfortunately, A 165cm tall girl is not able to seek shelter behind a 140cm tall girl. I watched my class jog. Things seemed so much different from where I was standing. Even from far away, I could spot our class and see how much more united we actually were, even though there are still some people who( in my opinion) aren't exactly... friend-ly. Recess came which seemed surprisingly short. Recess was followed by Mother tongue which I am not beginning to enjoy and then Literature-no comment. Then, the final period of the day which seemed to last the longest was geography. Today, we finally..and i mean.. FINALLY FINISHED THE SYLLABUS!! now, all I have to do is revise, recall and answer. Thank goodness I only have one paper. ONE EXAM. pheww...
Jolene, Estee and I gathered at the library. We discussed the motion which our coach had put forth and managed to finish discussing and setting all the guide lines and boundaries. Now all I have to do is type out my case.I couldn't get a taxi for about 15 minutes. I do admit to panicking .Obviously, I got a taxi.
Today my brother came back from Cambodia!! I can't wait for him to pull out all the souvenirs and knick knacks he bought. LOL... i heard he bought a hammock. I wonder where we'll hang it... Hmmm..
A tonne of homework has been dumped on my shoulders but nothing I can't handle. right? I have quite a lot of Geography and Maths homework. Nonetheless... eh?
My skills in mapwork are limited and the more I think about it, the more worried I become. i should learn my mapwork again.
P.S. i made this post extra long because I don't expect myself to blog for a long time to come.. probably a week or two.
till then..
JOYOUS OF JOYS.
